Gretsch Limited Edition Double-Cut Center Block Falcon
Guitars
As an old fan of Gretsch guitars, there’s few that look as classy as a Gretsch Falcon to me. Well, now they’ve released limited edition double-cut and center block variants of them as part of their Professional Collection, both of these beauties featuring string-through Bigsby trems and all gold hardware in either Vintage White or Midnight Sapphire finishes.

These double-cut Falcons feature:
- Arched laminated maple bodies with updated, deeper cutaways for easier upper fret reach
- A maple/spruce center block
- 24.6″ scale length
- “U”-shaped maple neck with 22 medium jumbo frets and a rolled 12″ radius ebony fretboard featuring the classic Gretsch Thumbnail inlays
- Glow-in-the-dark Luminlay sidedots
- TV Jones “TV Classic” and “TV Classic Plus” Filter’Tron pickups
- String-through Bigsby B7GP vibrato with an Adjusto-Matic bridge
- Individual volume knobs for neck and bridge pickups
- Master volume control with treble bleed circuit plus master tone control with Squeezebox capacitor
- Graph Tech TUSQ XL nut
- Gold Gotoh locking tuners
- Gretsch deluxe hardshell case

These double-cut Falcons are available right now with a current price tag of $3,789 (if you’re after a white, blinged out single-cut Falcon with roughly the same price tag instead I can highly recommend looking at Gretsch’s Orville Peck Signature Falcon which I reported on earlier as well).
