PRS Chleo Limited Edition: DragonForce’s Herman Li Signature Model
Guitars
PRS is teaming up with Herman Li of DragonForce with a limited edition signature guitar: the PRS Chleo, and I’m sure the looks of this might shake up a few traditional PRS fans a tiny bit. There’ll only be 200 of these made though, so don’t worry about them flooding the PRS market just yet.
Herman Li is of course the lead player of DragonForce, so the guy shreds in lightspeed mode. The Chleo comes with a very sculpted figured maple top and similarly sculpted mahogany body, almost organic looking (dare we say dragon-like?) with a smooth bump for the pickup selector and output jack along with a very sculpted backside as well. The body and neck is, according to PRS, “remarkably thin” along with a 20″ fretboard radius and scalloped last 4 frets, so the neck is custom for this model. The upper horn looks very long and non-PRS to me, almost giving me Petrucci Majesty / Ernie Ball Music Man vibes.
Other specs include:
- Herman Li’s own signature Series HSH Fishman Fluence Omniforce pickups (offering 3 voicings and up to 13 unique tone combinations)
- A floating Gotoh GE1996T locking tremolo with the new PRS Custom Stabilizer which PRS says offers the tuning stability of a fixed bridge
- PRS Phase III locking tuners with wing buttons
- Ebony fretboard with “Eclipse Dragon” inlay pattern
- Glow-in-the-dark side dots
- All gold hardware
- Two satin nitro color finishes: Charcoal Purple Burst and Orchid Dusk
- PRS ATA Multi-Fit Molded Case

I have no idea how much these will cost, but a wild guess would be that they won’t be cheap. Read more about it and find a dealer over at prsguitars.com though!
