Peter Honoré, perhaps more known as “Danish Pete” from Anderton’s Youtube channel, collaborated with Victory Amps to create The Deputy; an amp meant to fit right between Victory’s clean option The Dodge and their dirtier more Marshall-like The Sheriff, aiming for an amp that can go from 60’s blues cleans to late 60’s/70’s rock with enough gain for leads. Said and done, they launched The Deputy in 2024 and here’s the 25W lunchbox head version of said amp (there is a slightly more premium 25W compact sleeve amp head version available as well).

This stylish little amp head with its rugged steel chassis offers:

  • Single channel design
  • Three voicings with bright switch (position 1 equals lowest gain, 2 maximum of +6dB gain, position 3 adds upper mid frequencies and a treble boost to position 2)
  • Expansive reverb
  • 3-band EQ (treble/middle/bass)
  • Series effects loop
  • External bias test points
  • Valves: Pre 3xECC83, power: 2xEL86 (can be fitted/biased to use EL84s too)
  • 25 watts RMS
  • 345Wx180Hx180D
  • Built in Victory’s UK factory
