Jackson Signature Scott Ian King V KVXT

Jackson just announced Scott Ian of Anthrax’s new signature guitar: The Jackson X-Series Scott Ian King V KVXT. This absolute beauty of a gloss-black-only King V features 24.75″ scale length, a graphite reinforced through-body maple neck with Jackson’s Speed Neck profile, a 12-16″ compound radius rosewood fingerboard with 22 jumbo frets and pearloid block inlays.

Powering all this are two golden high-output Jackson humbuckers with all gold hardware (like the TOM-style bridge with anchored tailpiece and 6-in-line sealed die-cast tuners) and blacked-out plastics.

Slight King V trivia: While people connect the King V to several different metal guitar heroes like Dave Mustaine, it was originally named after Robbin Crosby of Ratt whose nickname was ‘King’. Robbin later mostly played a symmetrical Double Rhoads instead while the King V is a downsized version of the Double Rhoads.
