Gretsch Limited Edition Jack Antonoff Signature Princess Electromatic CVT
GuitarsI really like what Gretsch is doing these days: Here’s the new ten-time Grammy Award winner Jack Antonoff’s signature guitar dubbed the Gretsch Limited Edition Jack Antonoff Princess Electromatic CVT (phew, that really rolls off your tongue). If the Antonoff name is unfamiliar to you he worked with a lot of legends like Paramore, Taylor Swift, St. Vincent, Lana Del Rey and Florence and the Machine and won Producer of the Year awards three years in a row. But regarding the actual guitar, there’s just something with the shape of this that looks so classy. And with Gretsch P90 pickups too.
So, on this signature Gretsch you’ll get:
- A solid alder body in vintage white with a bolt-on C-shaped maple neck (satin finish and contoured neck joint)
- 25.5″ scale length
- Rosewood fretboard (22 medium jumbo frets) with a bone nut
- Neo-classical “thumbnail” fret inlays
- Custom FideliSonic single-coil P90 pickups (Alnico 5)
- Vintage-style floating bridge with trem tailpiece (with a lock button)
- Vintage-style tuners
- Gold plexi pickguard and truss rod cover
- Nickel hardware
Now, there’s some special controls on this thing: Master volume, Master tone, rhythm/lead switch with thumbweel controls for the neck pickup’s volume and tone, a momentary kill switch plus a 3-position pickup selector switch.
