ESP LTD 200DX: A stunning line of affordable guitars

Considering the level of quality you can get out of more affordable guitars these days it’s always thrilling to see what companies comes up with in that segment. Here’s ESP LTD 200DX, a line of six guitars / three models that’ll set you back a mere $399 and I’ve got to say the finishes look absolutely stunning.

ESP LTD EC-200DX
First up is the Les Paul-y, single-cut version, available in Blue Burst and Charcoal Burst. Bolt-on neck, light weight poplar body, flamed maple top, roasted maple neck (thin U shape) with rosewood fretboard and ESP LH-150 humbuckers with black chrome covers. This model is the only one that seems to come in that excellent charcoal finish.

ESP LTD M-200DX
Next up, the S-style M-200DX, available in Blue Burst and Purple Burst. Light-weight poplar body, 25.5″ scale, roasted maple neck (thin U shape), rosewood fretboard, TOM-style bridge (string through), full body binding and ESP LH-150 humbucking pickups.

ESP LTD TE-200DX
Last but not least, the tele-shaped TE-200DX, also available in Blue Burst and Purple Burst. Light-weight poplar body, birds-eye maple top, roasted maple neck (thin U shape)(thin, rosewood fretboard, hard-tail bridge (string through), tiltback headstock and ESP LH-150 humbuckers with black chrome covers.
