Epiphone Joe Bonamassa 1955 Les Paul Standard Copper Iridescent

If there’s one thing I’ve learned that a lot of people have a lot of feelings regarding Joe Bonamassa, but regardless of that, his latest collaboration with Epiphone looks absolutely stunning. It’s the Joe Bonamassa 1955 Les Paul Standard in a really interesting color: copper iridescent (think a blend of brown and gold that changes in the light). Like a gold top with added flavor, along with knobs that matches that color.

Now, as with all collaborations Joe does with Epiphone and Gibson, this is based on one of his favorite guitars in his collection and the original for this particular one was made for the 1955 NAMM show and apparently Joe owns three of them.

Other specs include:

  • Maple top, mahogany body
  • Single ply binding (top and fretboard)
  • Epiphone P90 Pro pickups (cream soapbars, neck and bridge)
  • CTS pots and Mallory capacitors
  • Custom ’59 rounded C neck profile with vintage-style long tenon
  • 24.75″ scale, 22 medium jumbo frets
  • Laurel fretboard
  • Graph Tech nut
  • Epiphone Deluxe tuners
  • Custom Joe Bonamassa Nerdville case w/ pink interior and Certificate of Authenticity

This copper iridescent Les Paul is available now on Sweetwater for $849
