Tim Henson’s Ibanez TOD10 now available in Metallic Mauve (or, pale pink?)
GuitarsIbanez just launched a new look for their Tim Henson (of Polyphia fame) signature guitar TOD10: Metallic Mauve. I had to look up what ‘mauve’ was to be honest, and I got “A moderate grayish violet to reddish purple” and I can see that. I guess ‘pale pink’ would work too, though, but I like it. A bit subdued but still quite the stunner.
The guitar was available in metallic silver before (his bandmate Scott LePage’s signature was in metallic gold), and the Metallic Mauve version comes with the same specs as before:
- American basswood body
- Roasted maple neck (AZ Oval C shape)
- 24 fret, 12 inch radius ebony fingerboard with “Tree of Death” inlays (nice nod to Ibanez buddy Steve Vai there)
- Tim Henson signature multi-voice Fishman Fluence humbuckers
- Gotoh T1502 tremolo
- Gotoh locking tuners
- Graph Tech nut
- Luminlay side dots for dark stages
You can get the TOD10MM in both Mauve and Silver on Sweetwater for $1499 right now, the silver version is available on Amazon for $1,376 right now (Mauve version might pop up later)
